Welcome to the Pub N Paint Express!
Pub N Paint has a big day tomorrow, and you’re invited! We’re hosting our first holiday market, the Pub N Paint Express Artisan Market. It’s a drop-in event, where we will have live music, tasty foods, some painting, some art, a wheel, and a donation table. The best part? We will be at Rooster Kitchen and Bar on Whyte TOMORROW the 14DEC2024 from 2:30-7:30 pm!
Rooster’s marvelous chefs will be whipping up some delicious nibblers for sale like their Boom Boom Shrimp and Veggie House Lasagna, and, personally, I am wildly excited to try their Holiday Chai and Baileys! Did you know that the owner’s parents make Rooster’s adored chai? It really is something special, so make sure you try it and warm yourself from your toes to your soul!
It wouldn’t be a Pub N Paint without some hands-on painting! We will have a nice long table set up with little canvases for you to paint, led by one of our Pub N Paint Instructors, all for free! We will teach a bunch of different holiday things, like how to paint snowmen, or Roudolph, and maybe a tree or two. A kids table will be ready to go for parents to keep an eye on the kidlets, and giving them a space just for them. As always, your painting is yours to make, so have fun with it and create memories!
Not only do we want to engage you in creating your own painting memories, we want to showcase those made by our Pub N Paint Instructors! Our artists have a range of talents, from Cailey’s stone and glass work, to Ariel’s classy oils. You’ll find Lucy’s work with outstanding colour in her mixed modern and Bob Ross landscapes, and Kira is sure to make you question existence with her strange and macabre marker pieces. Their work will be for sale at their booths, so make sure to say hi and vote for your favourite piece! There’s no official voting by the way, unless you would like to make something happen.
You’ll have to check out our wheel while you’re there! Spin it to win yourself some stickers, easels, single use discount codes for our future events, and if you’re super lucky, you may even win a free ticket to one of our events! If your luck floats to the wrong side of the wheel though, prepare yourself to go home with one of our “well loved” paint cups… possibly full of paint water….
While you’re bopping around to our local, live music groups, make sure to check out our fundraiser! It’s a donate-for-a-painting, where you get an original Pub N Paint painting with your donation supporting Edmonton’s local Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (S.C.A.R.S). All of us at Pub N Paint have rescued fluffy furballs, and we would never have been able to cherish them without animal rescues like S.C.A.R.S.
I’m sure we will get up to many more shenanigans than these. But if you’re not there, you won’t be able to see it happen. So stop on by tomorrow, meet the people behind the paint, holiday it up with some painting cheer, and have a fun time hanging out!
Oh… just in case you forgot… please don’t drink the paint water….
